Tim is originally from Minnesota but recently chose the island life. His first step into the industry was at a high-end French restaurant, Les Quatre Amis followed by opening a 5 diamond regional American restaurant for Amfac Hotel Company. Since then, he's made his mark in Amelia Island working for The Ritz Carlton & Amelia Island Plantation. When he's not at work, you can find him on his bike, in the gym or at the beach surfing and fishing. His daughter, Karly and dog, Brodie take up the rest of his free time. Now, his passion has created Bar Zin, and he is thrilled to share his dream with all of you.
We are thrilled to announce Chef Chris as Bar Zin’s new Executive Chef. Chris is originally from Boston but made the move to the sunshine state a few years ago. He graduated from the New England Culinary Institute and has since gained experience in a variety of cuisines. When he’s not dedicating time in the kitchen, he’s spending time outside, playing golf, hanging out with his dogs, or traveling to the Caribbean islands (he’s been to all of them!). Chef Chris will be executing a new menu at the end of the year that may be one of our bests ever, be sure to come check it out!
Christina is originally from Long Island, New York but we are so thankful that she made her way to the Island in 2002. She's been with us since day one when Tim gave her a shot at the General Manager position. Her knowledge of the industry has assisted Bar Zin in countless ways. When she's not at the restaurant, she spends the majority of her time with her two daughters, Brie & Kylie or helping run her family painting business.
